We began our breeding program in 1996 with the purchase of a really beautiful Cremello Quarter Horse mare that was carefully selected to have a combination of beauty and the soft way of going in her gaits that would enable her to cross well with Arabian stallions, resulting in the Perfect Half Arabian Western Pleasure horse. She was by an Impressive bred stallion (known for his beauty) who was a PHBA World Champion, out of a granddaughter of Windchester, also a World Champion. The mare, Crystal Blue Persuasion, was bred to an Arabian stallion, with the expectation that the offspring would become the Perfect Palomino or Buckskin Western horse for us to ride.
Now, more than 15 years later, and from a small, but select pool of mares we have bred horses with spectacular colors and athletic ability available for sale. We studied and determined which stallions "nicked" best with our mares. We bred to Enzo, SJ Mikhail, Mega Zee Bucks, Legacy of Gold, Hermoso, Llewelyn Fawr, Fire an Ice, Raleighs Full Moon, Roi Rogers, Vanilla Zip, and Cupids Faded Gold.
Our clients who have purchased our young horses all comment on how well mannered as well as beautiful they are, as we concentrate on the basics of early education, all aspects of handling, clipping, worming, and also picking up their feet, loading in a trailer, really everything they should know before they go to a trainer to become a saddle horse.
